The latest trolley will be loaded with the goodies the Pink Ladies deliver to Port Macquarie Base Hospital patients, such as newspapers and magazines, as well as snacks.
The earlier models were mobile book libraries, which have also proved popular with patients, staff and visitors.
Project organiser Stuart Aston said the Tacking Point Lions Club was only too happy to help.
"The Pink Ladies' old trolley was getting very difficult to manoeuvre so it didn't take long at all for us to agree to help out," he said.
"The new trolley is light and moves effortlessly, making it much easier for the Pink Ladies to visit all of the wards and departments in the hospital, delivering the goodies patients look forward to each day.
"It's a pleasure for our club to support this project and to assist the Pink Ladies when they need our help. They are a wonderful group of volunteers, totally dedicated to the needs of patients, staff and visitors at the hospital."
Pink Ladies president Gabby Gregory thanked the Lions for their ongoing support.
"The Lions really are wonderful people. Every time we've asked for help, they have delivered," Mrs Gregory said.
"Our old trolley was a bit of a handful. The wheels in particular had a mind of their own, so the new and improved trolley is an absolute dream to take on our rounds.
"We can't thank the Lions enough for the support they provide to our hospital and to our Pink Ladies in particular."
