The RSPCA has a selection of kittens looking for homes. They have different temperaments and range in age from 10 weeks to seven months. Most are short haired with a few medium-haired available. They are all desexed, micro-chipped, vet checked, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed, litter trained and will cost $170 to adopt.
There are also Indian ringneck birds to be adopted. The grey is a female suited to aviary living as she has had no handling at her previous home. The blue is gender unknown with clipped wings and minimal handling. They can be adopted separately at $65 each, and have been health checked.
Pets are at the RSPCA shelter 10 Karungi Crescent, open six days, closed Tuesdays and public holidays, call 6581 0380. Or view at adoptapet.com.au Port Macquarie tab.
