The event is on each year in Port Macquarie to raise money for breast cancer research and people chose to wear dazzling pink attire in a show of support.
Funds raised from the walk will go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Mid North Coast Cancer Institute.
Mother's Day Classic organiser Kylie Bulmer said 650 people registered prior to the event and it was fabulous many others signed up on the day.
She said Mother's Day provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate loved ones, while also attending an event which supported a good cause.
Carene Naseby attended the walk with her daughter Emilee Naseby. Carene's mum has breast cancer and her aunt passed away from the disease.
She said it's the first time they are doing the walk but it won't be their last.
Helen Cheers participated in the event with her three children Sophie, Matt and Natalie.
Helen was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 and has undergone treatment. She is now in remission.
She said the diagnosis for all women comes as a shock, as no one ever thinks it's going to happen to them.
Helen will continue to support the event which she said will only grow bigger.
Attendees got the opportunity to hear stories from the Mother's Day Classic ambassadors at the event.
Irene Mifsud, Magalie Lameloise and Bron Watson gave moving speeches about their breast cancer journeys and thanked loved ones for their ongoing support.
They called on other women to be proactive and check their breasts, regardless of their age and be aware of their family history.
