Friendships were rekindled and new friendships formed as women of all ages shared ideas and cultures at the Nyiirun Djiyagan Wakulda Women's Festival.
Festival organiser Rhonda Radley said the festival was about sisterhood and showcasing Aboriginal culture, practices and stories, while creating space for younger women to step into leadership roles.
"It's all about women supporting and nurturing each other and around wellbeing - social, emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing," she said.
The festival, staged at the Birpai Local Aboriginal Land Council, featured more than 30 service providers.
The Ngarrgan-Mirriiyn (morning star) choir performed as part of the event.
Workshops on offer ranged from language to weaving, storytelling and art.
The festival also featured a healing and sharing circle, cultural tours, spiritual readings, massage and face painting.
The Djiyagan Dhanbaan group hosted the festival.
People came from as far as Victoria, Queensland and the Northern Territory to attend the event.
