Hundreds of future Ironman champions took to the course in wet conditions in Port Macquarie on Saturday, May 4 for the annual main race prelude, Ironkids.
Consistent drizzle and grey skies didn't dampen spirits with children aged from 4 to 13 years taking part in the fun event.
Mums and dads got involved in the 500m family dash while the 1500m and three kilometre events saw the more serious athletes battle it out along the breakwall.
