It's time to head to the beach in Port Macquarie with a sunny Sunday and peak swell predicted over the ANZAC Day weekend, according to Weatherzone meteorologist Graeme Brittain.
"It's likely to be around 29 degrees on Friday, six degrees above average for this time of year," he said.
"There's going to be a cold front pushing across the region late on Friday.
"Saturday will be much cooler at 23 degrees for Port Macquarie."
Mr Brittain said there would also be the chance of a few light showers on Saturday in coastal areas.
"Winds will be noticeable from the Southwest on Saturday, adding a wind chill factor," he said.
"Looks like there will be a swell peak 1.5 to two metres early around sun rise on Saturday, easing during the reminder of the weekend.
"On Sunday it is expected to be in the mid-20s, dry and sunny.
"The same for Monday with indications of showers north of Port Macquarie towards Coffs Harbour."
