In doing so they will become the first team sport program in Port Macquarie to cater for people with disabilities.
Coordinator Chris Whitfield said the main reason for the decision was on the back of a push from the community.
"The whole reason it came about is because we've got people messaging us all the time wanting to start up a juniors program," he said.
"For kids with disabilities in sport there are no real opportunities out there apart from the Disabled Surfing at Flynns Beach.
"In terms of having a team environment which is inclusive for children, there's nothing out there at the moment so we figured we'd get on board and start it up."

Currently, the Eagles All Abilities futsal program caters for mainly older players, but the number of enquiries had steadily increased about juniors.
"We've got a 12-year-old, a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old in there so it's one of those things where people have started coming to us and we've tried to accommodate them," Whitfield said.
"But you get them around some of the bigger guys who can boot a ball and the kids move out of the way a bit so we figured we'd have a defined program which is targeted at specific age groups."
The biggest takeaway for the coordinator was realising how little sporting opportunities there were for people with disabilities at any age.
Whitfield said there needed to be a push within sporting organisations to increase participation numbers.
"I've spoken to a few people and it's something to push for in the near future so it's nice to be at the forefront of it," he said.
"It's exciting in a lot of ways and nice to be able to feed back to an area where there is an identified need (for this sort of program) and it is something that can be so easily fixed.
I told some of the senior guys we were going to start a junior program and a couple of them put their hand up straight away and said they'd help out as coaches for it.

"All you've got to do is give these guys an opportunity in sport."
If the junior program does "take off", Whitfield said there would be similar opportunities for junior players that their senior counterparts have experienced such as national title appearances.

"These guys want to give these kids the same opportunities that they had."
All Abilities has already taken off and "it's only going to get bigger."
"Mick, myself and Cheree are only really meeting the needs of the community," Whitfield said.
"They're the ones constantly driving us and pushing us and so we do what we can to meet the needs that they want met."
The program will run on Sunday mornings, starting May 12 at the Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium.
