A Camden Haven man is due to re-appear in Port Macquarie Local Court next month, charged over the alleged attempted murder of his wife.

The 80-year-old man and his 74-year-old wife were found seriously injured in their home at Laurieton Residential Resort on Resort Road, Kew, on Thursday, April 4.
The woman was taken to John Hunter Hospital where she was treated for multiple stab wounds. She is now reported to be in a stable condition.
The man was arrested by officers when he was released from Port Macquarie Base Hospital on April 5.
Subsequently he was taken to Port Macquarie Police Station where he was charged with one count of attempted murder.
He was refused bail and appeared in Port Macquarie Local Court later that day, where he was again refused bail, to re-appear in the same court on Thursday, June 6.
