Students from kindergarten to year six were dressed in their best Easter hats, strutting down the runway at Tacking Point Primary School on April 11.
Giant fluffy bunny heads and stock man hats with dangling carrots were popular this year, before the school raffled off 62 baskets of goodies donated by parents.
Tacking Point Public School principal Phil Harris said the showcase of Easter creativity was always successful and a fun event for the community.
"The kids look forward to it and talk about what they might like to wear in class leading up to it," he said.
"It's a good way to wrap up the term and pretty much 95 per cent of the students do it."
Mr Harris said this year the younger students were led by their year six peers.
"The students from year one and two love it although we lose some interest in older years, the year six have a job to do setting the scene as role models.
"It's not meant to be a competition, it's about participation and the designs this year are very clever."
