Dress in fluorescent clothing to light up the night and don't forget your sense of fun.
The Bright Night Run is the Local Organising Committee's fundraising event as part of the Ironman Australia Port Macquarie weekend.
There will be pre-race entertainment from 4.30pm including a fancy dress competition and a special guest appearance.
Three clowns - Sparkles (Anne Stephens), Tubes (Laura Munro) and Giggles (Mel Baker) - will be front and centre to add another fun element to the event.
The family-friendly fun run/skip/stroll/walk takes place as the sun goes down.
The course starts from the Town Green and continues along the breakwall, past the skate park to Town Beach before returning to the Town Green.

The St Agnes' Parish drumming line will mark the countdown to the run.
The run starts about 5.40pm.
Steve Thomas and Hazel Kirby are the Bright Night Run directors.
Ms Kirby said the course covered about four kilometres.
"Along the way, participants get to enjoy the funky laser lights, music and live performances and interactive games on the course," she said.
Mr Thomas said the community, Ironman competitors and their families really get behind the Bright Night Run.
"It really has got a family atmosphere both for visitors and for locals," he said.
The funds raised from The Bright Night Run are channelled back by the Local Organising Committee to the many community groups who volunteer throughout the entire Ironman weekend.
The Bright Night Run registration costs $15 for adults (13 years and over), $10 for children (five to 12 years of age) and children aged under five get free entry.
