The day will be hosted on the immaculate greens of the Port Macquarie Golf Club and has been scheduled as a fun event to encourage networking opportunities. With registrations now closed, the organisers are delighted to have reached capacity prior to the event.
Kicking off at midday, with a 1pm shotgun start, the event will be played on a nine-hole course.
Registration of attendance will be open to players, near the practice nets, prior to going out on the course. Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce and Optus will also be hosting an awards presentation after the game, for further networking, fun and refreshments.
"We are really excited to be offering our members and guests something a little different and believe that getting out into the fresh air and sunshine will encourage some productive conversations.
"We are thrilled that the ladies and gentlemen of our business community are actively supporting the event. It's not a serious competition, it's just a chance to relax and get to know each other better," said Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce Executive Officer, Mark Wilson said.
