The service provides care and support to callers in their time of personal crisis.
Last year the service answered 17430 calls, thanks to 85 local counsellors.
This month (April) Lifeline Mid Coast are hosting an information session for people interested in becoming a telephone counsellor.
Head trainer Di Bannister said anyone can attend.
"We would like people interested in volunteering to come and speak to a trained telephone crisis counsellor and see if it's for them," she said.
The training is a place to share information and see what Lifeline Mid Coast offers and how we build resilient communities.

Ms Bannister said Lifeline Mid Coast has received some wonderful feedback from callers including:
"I had a call tonight from a man who was just out of hospital after a suicide attempt. He rang to say a huge 'THANK YOU' to Lifeline for saving his life."
"I was called an angel by a caller today who felt better after we talked. I feel great for knowing I helped."
"Lifeline is an accessory for getting well."
Lifeline Mid Coast are hosting the information session on April 9th at the Glasshouse Port Macquarie at 6pm.
