The Muster will run from Thursday to Sunday at the Macksville Showground and the organisers are feeling assured about the talent on offer, and crowd numbers.
The country music cavalcade is the brainchild of acclaimed performer Vanessa Sanger, who is coordinating the festival together with Rotary - and the charity Royal Far West will be the beneficiary of the showcase.
"We are looking good for 200 to 300 caravans at the Showground. We've already had 80 bookings online and heaps of inquiries. There will be people coming from right across NSW and from Queensland," Vanessa said.
"The caravanners all travel together - and I guess some of them aren't into websites so we are expecting a lot to just roll up."
While pre-event ticket sales have been strong, Vanessa expects a surge of purchases at the gate - for day or night passes or season tickets.
"There's already a buzz around town so everyone knows it's on. The talent we have is quite different to the usual musters. We've brought in new people and local people," Vanessa said. "There'll be just a really relaxed country atmosphere."
