The street food revolution to boost local businesses and showcase the community is being brought together by ten local restaurants on May 10 and 11.
The scheme at Port Macquarie marina has been in planning for six months to find and create a vibrant space for the community to enjoy, according to organiser Lee Wood.
"It will be a street market in the style of Miami Marketta Street Food (A Gold Coast lane way dining experience of 25 food vendors)," he said.
"There will be food vendors, musicians, canteen style seating and picnic styled area to promote local food providers.
"We have ten providers locked in with a range of signature dishes including chicken burgers with chicken wings, Mexican based food, Bloody Mary's with BLTs and a range of seafood including oysters."
Mr Wood said the event could see as many as 2000 people over the two days because it is within walking distance of CBD and has large amounts of parking traditionally used for the marina.
"This is a pop up space where you can get everything from one place," he said.
"The area itself hasn't been used despite the amazing view and we wanted somewhere that hasn't been used for events to saturation."
The market will feature food from Bandwagon Cafe, Bills Fishhouse, Luna Bonita, See Catering, Sticky Fingers and others, as a free entry event.
The street market extravaganza will feature craft beer, cider and cocktails as a licensed event from 3pm to 9pm on May 10 and noon to 8pm on May 11.
Luna Bonita Mexican restaurant's Carlos Valdez said the market was a great idea to keep growth local.
"Sounds like a good idea to promote business and support the community," he said.
"We have been involved a few times with different concerts.
"We enjoy it because we can leave restaurant for a bit and cook on barbecue."
