Ms Prigg has been a volunteer with the local green thumb organisation for the last five years working on a number of great environmental projects.
"Annette joined Landcare in early 2014 and has worked on the Wrights and Yarranabee Creek Enviro Trust Project," a Landcare representative said.
"During that project she was working three mornings a week clearing Lantana and Morning Glory from the creek lines together with our other volunteers and has averaged 3600 volunteer hours.
"Annette has also taken on the job as a van driver and has always been a delight to work with."
They also said that Annette has worked at Landcare's nursery helping to create plants which are then used on sites and sold to members of the public.
"Annette also worked at our Landcare Nursery caring for the seedling that now grow in our Reserves.
"She is now taking a short break from Landcare and will return shortly to once again grace us with her presence working in the natural rainforests of Port Macquarie."
