Hand-picked from 2700 entries in Bondi, the festival features an A-list group of award winning movies at Majestic Cinemas with the Best of Australia Shorts from 7pm on March 23.
Among the many highlights is comedian Paul McDermott’s animated film, Ghostbear which tackles the issue of the disappearing animals of our planet.
The film follows the journey of a polar bear cub wandering the arctic.
A definite stand out film is Best Editing in an Australian Short Film at Flickerfest 2019 and Palme d'Or at Cannes 2018 winner, All These Creatures by Dan Lee and Charles Williams.
Self-described as 'An adolescent boy attempts to untangle his memories of a mysterious infestation, the unraveling of his father and the little creatures inside us all’.
Actor Jack Thompson who has appeared in Breaker Morant, The man from Snowy River and Star Wars: Attack of the Clones makes an appearance at the show when he stars in short film drama, Home.
Flickerfest also presents a modern take on a relationship between mother and daughter with a comedy film entirely told through phone calls entitled Calling.

Tickets are $18, $14.50 for concession and $11.50 for club membership.
