Pembrooke residents have called for storm clean up assistance after the area was devastated by wild weather.
State Emergency Services from Port Macquarie and Wauchope were sent out to fix leaking roofs, remove fallen trees and assist Essential Energy to repair damaged power lines over the March 10 weekend.
A severe thunderstorm warning had previously been issued for the Mid North Coast and affected areas included Port Macquarie, Taree, Kempsey, Dungog and Murrurundi.
Pembrooke Road resident Tiffany Rix, who has lived there for around eight months said she had seen roofs picked up, power lines tangled and significant damage from the storm.
"Our property was without power for three days, roof tiles were thrown off the roof and our car was hit by a branch," she said.
"The old lady down the road lost her entire roof, our neighbours' shed was totaled and we've been trying to clean up but it's a huge job.
"A shed roof came off and flew becoming tangled in power lines.
"Never witnessed anything like it before."
Ms Rix said there should be assistance funds made available to help repair storm damage in the area.
"Residents have been asking around for relief but there is nothing," she said.
"There should be a grant from the government to fix damage and funds to replace equipment."
"Just to get some sort of relief to replace what we have lost."
SES Mid North Coast community engagement officer Steve Lawrence said the SES had multiple call outs over the March 10 weekend.
"SES crews were sent out on the Sunday (March 11) including staff from Port Macquarie to assist local units," he said.
"We received 12 requests for assistance because of leaking roofs, fallen trees and damaged power lines.
"It's a timely reminder that we are still in storm season and residents need to be aware of trees, secure items on their property and prepare for severe weather."
