"Ricky is normally the first one picked," Kemp said.
The Breakers qualified for the final with a comfortable 32-14 win over Wauchope last weekend.
It's the final chance for players to stake a claim for selection in the opening round team for the clash with Port Macquarie Sharks on April 6.
"A few blokes got a crack last week that probably won't this week," Kemp said.
The coach was looking for similar levels of energy and enthusiasm from the Breakers that they showed in their 18-point win last Saturday.
"The young fellas knew they had to rip in and they were all keen to have a dig," he said.
"They all just wanted to get out there, make their tackles and play some footy."
First grade kicks off at 4.15pm at Lank Bain Sports Complex.
