A competition between the schools, students were selected to participate in the film competition where they have to storyboard, act and film their own movie.
Hayley Pankiewicz, Rae Venice Gaviola and Blake Donohue said they were excited to be part of such a fun project.
"There are about 20 of us students and a few teacher that have been part of the film and we are nearly done with the filming part," Hayley said.
"The film itself is all about space and space junk and we have been doing the filming with a green screen."
"It is actually kind of hard to film our story because we obviously can't be in space and we have to pretend," Rae said.
"We have had to use our acting skills and pretend to be in a different place.
"It is fun to see the camera though and even if we aren't really in space it looks like it on the film."
"It has been cool to do something really different to what we usually do at school," Blake said.
"The best part other than doing the acting and filming is eating the chocolate at the end of the film."
