There are four candidates vying for the state seat of Port Macquarie.
The candidates are Nationals MP Leslie Williams, Country Labor's Peter Alley, The Greens Drusi Meggett and Sustainable Australia's Jan Burgess.
The Meet the Candidates forum will be run by the Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Charles Sturt University.
President of the Port Macquarie Business Chamber Michael Mowle said he expected a range of issues would be raised.
"Orbital road, local infrastructure, community & sporting grand funding, education, health and regional growth amongst others," he said.
Candidates will field questions from the floor and questions can be submitted prior to the event.
Mr Mowle said interest in the event has been so strong that registrations had now closed due to the interest.
The National's Leslie Williams has held the seat since 2011.
The current margin is 19 per cent.
