Dozens of water racing fanatics took part in this year's races and inflatable derby at Settlement Point in Port Macquarie on March 9.
The wellness paddle was started in 2017 as a free, non-timed community paddle which is open to all non-powered water crafts and is hosted by Headspace Port Macquarie.
Community engagement officer Amy Scholes said the event has been renamed the Wayne Jackson Wellness Paddle in 2019 after Mr Jackson passed away in June 2018.
"It's been a great turnout on the water," she said.
"The inflatable dash has been lots of fun.
"It's an opportunity to bring the community together and raise awareness of mental and physical health.
"To honour the life and work of Wayne, Headspace is pleased to come together with the Jackson family to make the event a success."
The iconic novelty inflatable race was a favourite this year with ten year old, Lucy Hope taking out line honours on an inflatable mermaid tale ahead of the main group.
The event is supported by Commonwealth Bank, Tacking Point Lions Club, Marine Rescue, Port Macquarie SUP Fun, Scuba Haven, CSUSPA Port Macquarie, Sn@p, Settlement City, Baker’s Delight, Saltwater Wine, Ossix Swimwear, Majestic Cinemas, Mt Seaview Water and Meat by Lindsays.
