At the Summit's launch on March 7, co-founder and chair Kate Wood-Foye said the underpinning theme for this year was to look towards the future with compassion, vision and innovation tagged as the official day themes.
"We are so excited to be able to launch the Luminosity Youth Summit for 2019 and with an incredible line up of speakers and workshops planned it will be our best summit yet," Mrs Wood-Foye said.
"By the end of 2019 we will have had 2200 young people graduate from the program which aims to foster purpose and wellbeing among our emerging leaders.
"We believe trajectory of success should not be determined by postcode and the Summit is a TEDx inspired event where we will have 27 amazing speakers deliver inspiring messages to our young people."
The Summit will be held in Port Macquarie at the Glasshouse from July 24-26.
In 2019 it is expected that 450 emerging leaders attend the three day event in July and with national recognition 150 of those Summit places will be allocated to young people outside the Hastings.
"We are very excited to be nationally recognised and are really getting back to the core reason for why we wanted to start Luminosity in the beginning," she said.
"We are really going to put Port Macquarie on the map this year. In the past we have had a few delegates from outside the region but this year we are going to have 150 young people come from all over NSW and Australia join us."
The lineup for 2019 includes Dr Karl Kruszelnicki AM, Nadine Champion a martial arts sensi and author, Dr Jordan Nguyen a biomedical engineer, magician and escapologist Cosentino and local artists Tim and Stephanie Maddren.
"We are beyond excited for the incredible lineup we have assembled for Luminosity 2019," she said.
"Dr Karl is going to blow the minds of the young people in the audience along with magician Cosentino.
"We also have Andrew Morello back again with us who will get all our delegates pumped and ready to listen and get inspired."
At the launch hosted by the Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce and Holiday Coast Credit Union, Christie McMiles and Riley Dietrich spoke about how their lives had changed after attending Luminosity in 2018.
"I attended Luminosity last year and since then I quit my job in finance and have opened a successful small business," Christie said.
"In just four months I turned over more than $50,000 and it is all due to the fact I had a dangerous idea at Luminosity.
"The Summit gave me the confidence and determination I needed to give it a go."
"Before my mum told me about Luminosity I had no idea what it was and after she told me to go I decided I would," Riley said.
"And after listening to all the inspirational leaders who spoke last year I am so glad that mum pushed me to go.
"The two speakers that really connected with me were Dr Angela Jay who proved that no matter what happens you can always get up and try again and sailor Jessica Watson who shared her struggles with dyslexia.
"Her story was really great because I also have dyslexia and since then it has made me want to talk about my struggles."
The full list of speakers will be released in the coming weeks and for more information on the 2019 Luminosity Youth Summit head to the official website here.
