Mr Alley was in Port Macquarie campaigning with NSW deputy Labor leader Penny Sharpe on Wednesday, February 27.
"These demountables have been here for decades," he said.
"There are seven of them (at Hastings Public School) and Labor will be replacing every single one of them.
"The plan will see 1000 demountable classrooms replaced in the first term. This will be funded by not spending $2.2 billion on stadiums in Sydney.
"We can do that because we will be a government that prioritises local schools.
"Children deserve better than aging demountables, Port Macquarie deserves a government that will put our schools and our hospitals over Sydney stadiums.”
Member for Port Macquarie Leslie Williams said the last time Labor was in power it closed 90 schools across the state resulting in the loss of more than 500 classrooms.
“Many of the demountables that we have been replacing were put there when Labor was last in office – again, we’ve been cleaning up the mess they left behind," she said.
“The Liberals and Nationals have opened 83 new and upgraded schools since coming into government creating 22,500 new student places in more than 1200 new classrooms.
"We listened to the community and invested in the Lake Cathie Public School which Labor refused to support for the 16 years they were in government."
Mrs Williams said the Coalition is investing $6 billion to deliver more than 170 new and upgraded schools across the state.
Ms Sharpe said the commitment would see ageing demountables across NSW replaced with new permanent air-conditioned classrooms.
"It is the largest investment in schools by any state government in history," she said.
Labor will divert $500 million away from the Liberals and Nationals’ $2.2 billion Sydney stadium splurge, to start the $1.4 billion worth of long overdue upgrades.
“Our kids need to be ready to learn and our teachers need to be able to teach in classrooms that are modern and conducive to learning; mouldy, old demountables are the opposite of that.
“Labor will replace 1000 demountables with modern classrooms for the future.
“Under the Nationals, $2.2 billion is being wasted on Sydney stadiums, with Michael Daley and a Labor government this will be stopped and our priorities are clear: schools and hospitals.”
