A focal part of the Governor's visit to the region, the choir serenaded guests as part of a performance at the CWA tea rooms next to the Town Green.
Choir conductor Tim Maddren said the choir saw it as an honour to perform to the Governor and his wife who is patron of the organisation.
"We have been so excited about performing for the Governor and his wife since we found out earlier this year that they would be coming," Mr Maddren said.
"We have been doing lots of exciting things recently and it was great that they could come and see all the hard work the choir has been putting in.
"The special thing about this choir is that it is inclusive of everyone and we really try to showcase everyone's unique skills and passions."
NSW Governor, David Hurley said the choir had put on an excellent performance.
"There is something so uplifting when you listen to the School of Hard Knocks choir and I really enjoyed their performance," Mr Hurley said.
Patron of the choir, Linda Hurley said it was wonderful to see the choir perform again.
"I was able to come and visit the choir last time we were in Port Macquarie so coming back again is very special," Mrs Hurley said.
"I love singing and it is something that I encourage everyone do to. There is something intrinsically great about singing especially in a group and in a choir like this one you can't help but feel happy."
