A 25 year old man has been convicted in his absence and conviction warrants issued following his non-appearance in Port Macquarie Local Court.

Dean Jason Leard was due to face court on Wednesday February 20.
Magistrate J Price issued the warrants.
Leard, of Pacific Drive Port Macquarie was aged 24 years at the time of the alleged incidents.
He had pleaded not guilty to three charges, stealing from a person an amount less than $2000, common assault and impersonating a police officer.
Those incidents took place on November 25.
He was granted bail on December 3.
Bail conditions include reporting to police daily; to continue to reside at his given address, not to contact witnesses involved in the matter and adhere to a curfew between 7pm and 7am.
