On February 19, students in years 7-10 dressed in their colourful best cheering on their friends and team mates hoping for victory.
Head of sport at MacKillop College, Erin Denham said the day was all about students embracing swimming and having fun.
“We have more than 600 students at the pool today,” Ms Denham said.
“We had students competing in the 50m freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly as well as relays and novelty events.
“The students are also all competing for house points which are given out for participation.”
Senior students at MacKillop College will be out in force at the pool on February 20 for their turn racing.
