Three men have threatened hotel staff with an axe, tomahawk and knife during an armed robbery in Port Macquarie.

Police allege the men approached three staff members at a hotel on Hastings River Drive around 10.40pm on Tuesday, February 12.
It's understood the hotel had just closed and staff were counting the day’s takings when they were threatened by the men of Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander appearance.
The men left the premises with an amount of cash and were wearing hooded tops, with their faces and hands partially covered.
Police forensic officers from Mid North Coast Police District have examined the crime scene and are appealing for information.
