A Port Macquarie man who allegedly breached an AVO and bail conditions before stabbing two people has fronted Port Macquarie Local Court.

The 48-year-old appeared before Magistrate J Price on February 8.
The accused did not apply for bail and it was formally refused.
On Wednesday February 6, police attended a home in Port Macquarie following reports of an alleged domestic dispute.
Officers from Mid North Coast Police District attended and arrested the 48-year-old man after it’s alleged he threatened a man and a woman, aged 80 and 82 years.
The man was charged with four offences including, stalk and intimidate, and destroy or damage property. He was granted conditional bail, and issued an interim domestic violence order.
Police allege he later returned to the home and slept there.
Police will allege that on the morning of Thursday February 7, 2019, the man again threatened the couple with a knife.
The 80-year-old man attempted to defend himself and the 82-year-old woman, before he was allegedly stabbed in the face and arm.
The woman was then allegedly stabbed a number of times, before neighbours came to render assistance.
Police were called and arrived to arrest the man in the garage of the home.
The injured man and woman were taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital, where they remain in serious but stable conditions. Both are expected to make full recoveries.
Police charged the man with, two counts of wound a person with intent to cause GBH, attempt to damage property by fire with intent to injure, breach AVO and breach of bail.
The man will reappear in Port Macquarie Local Court on Thursday April 4, 2019.
