The cheers were deafening as students at Hastings Public School turned on their school pride at their 2019 swimming carnival on February 7.

The stands were full of students cheering, singing and dancing loudly for their friends brightly coloured in red, yellow, green or blue with all students participating in the competitive or novelty races.
The carnival kicks off one of the first whole school events for 2019 and is a great way for students from all year levels to come together and have fun before getting heavy into the books.
