The school spent the day at the pool competing in the traditional races as well as novelty events.
Phil Harris, principal at Tacking Point Public School said he was very proud of all the students who participated.
“We have had a great turn out with lots of our students participating in the carnival,” Mr Harris said.
“Along with the usual races the students have also been able to participate in fun events. We also opened the carnival up to some of our year 2 students so it has been great to see them having a go and taking part in the races.”
