Friends and family gathered on January 14 to mark Elsie’s 100th birthday.
The occasion brought together her extended family, including her daughter, Shiela, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all gathering in the Garden Village Garden Room, along with other residents and staff to celebrate the occasion and wish Elsie well.
Granddaughter Julie-Anne reminisced about her time with Elsie when she was younger, reminded by Elsie about the tea parties they would have together.
Elsie proudly displayed her letter of congratulations from Queen Elizabeth.
Elsie remains active, continuing to enjoy reading and is very involved in all of the activities at Garden Village.
She takes particular pleasure when her four-legged dog friends visit.
