Graeme Brittain from Weatherzone said temperatures will be above average for the foreseeable future.
“For the next few days we are going to be seeing top temperatures 5-6 degrees hotter than average,” Mr Brittain said.

“Fortunately there will be a northeasterly wind which will make it seem like it is a little bit cooler than forecasted.”
Mr Brittain said the minimum temperatures are also going to be above average as we head towards Australia Day.
“The temperature is not expected to go below 20 degrees overnight which will also keep things warmer than usual,” he said.
“At this stage the coolest day will by Sunday when a low pressure system is expected to come through.
“That will be short lived and temperatures will then rise again into next week.”
On the water he said conditions should not to particularly worrisome.
“There will be no significant swell and waves should reach a maximum of 1m on Friday.”
