A small band of youngsters danced with flags, hula hoops and their own imagination as energetic songs directed movements lead by music instructor Beate Karbstein. The session is for children aged 2-3 years old and is held monthly.
Each Fun with Music session gives parents lots of fun and practical ideas and activities to try at home.
The sessions themselves focus on rhythm, cooperation, listening and social skills, expressing ideas through movement and actions.
Fun with Music is just one of the many activities on offer at the library for young children. To find out more head to the Port Macquarie library’s website.
