The unit provides palliative care to patients from throughout the Hastings.
Our patients have benefited from donations of quilts, crocheted blankets, a mobile recliner chair, commode chair, four wheelie walkers, hats, nighties, comfort packs for families and carers, medical equipment, specially designed gowns, magazines, cushions and many other items.
We also received generous donations which enabled us to purchase electric recliner chairs, pressure relieving cushions, ultrasound equipment and physiotherapy equipment.
The donations also supported staff to attend conferences, workshops and pursue specialised palliative care education.
We wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year.
