Firefighters have been called to a fire burning in bushland on Lighthouse Road in Port Macquarie.

NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) and Fire and Rescue NSW were alerted to the incident at about 7.15pm on Tuesday, January 8.
A spokesperson from NSW RFS said the fire was about 100 to 150 metres in size.
The road was blocked off to motorists, while firefighters brought the fire under control.
The Meldrum family live on Lighthouse Road and came out of their house to watch the firefighters in action.
One resident said she saw some smoke and believed the fire was towards the beach in bushland.
The spokesperson from NSW RFS said as the fire was relatively small, it was brought under control quickly.
There were no threats to properties and the spokesperson said the cause of the fire is unknown.
