There were about 800 dozen oysters on offer at the 13th annual Oysters in the Vines, along with Cassegrain wines, beer and a selection of other food options and gourmet goodies.
Cassegrain Wines marketing and events coordinator Shannon Ward said the ethos behind the event was to support local businesses and the local community.
She said the celebration was a fun and exciting day out for residents and people visiting Port Macquarie.
“The atmosphere is electric,” Mrs Ward said.
The festival included artist and market stalls, children’s activities and entertainment provided by Lauren Edwards and Max De Groot.
Cassegrain Wines teamed up with Bills Fishhouse for the Oysters in the Vines masterclasses.
Bills Fishhouse presented a three-course interactive demonstration featuring cured trout, crispy skin salmon and panna cotta, each paired with a Cassegrain wine.
The second masterclass featured six dressed and one natural oyster paired with Cassegrain wines.
