As the Mid North Coast Premier Cricket League prepares to head into the Christmas break, a win for RSL could potentially move them within sight of second position.
A loss, however, could see them slip out of the top four with Magpies just two points behind and set to swoop.
Port City are also fresh from the bye last weekend.
Wauchope knocked off Port Macquarie last week, but Magpies lost their last game to the same Pirates by one wicket.
Elsewhere, the young Pirates will be at home at Oxley Oval against another young team in Rovers.
After a strong start to the season, Pirates will hope to return to the winner’s circle after last weekend’s defeat at Wauchope.
Rovers had their best game of the season last week and will be full of confidence after beating Macquarie. Can Pirates bounce back?
This game features some of the best young talent in the region and will be one to watch should the weather hold off.
Down the road at Wayne Richards Park, Macquarie will host Nulla. Both teams are coming off a loss and will demand the win of themselves.
Macquarie are too good to not start a winning sequence, and that at full strength can beat any team.
Nulla could find the form that has deserted them since their round five win, they have been so close yet not getting the result.
The competition will then break for Christmas ahead of the twenty20s which will take place in January.
