Organised by the Lions Club of Lake Cathie/Bonny Hills people from all over the Hastings came to listen to local bands and the students from Lake Cathie Public School.
Lions Club president John Hayes said the carols were a much anticipated event each year.
“Our yearly carols event is one that all the families and people in the area look forward to,” Mr Hayes said.
“Everyone has a great time singing along to all the carols and it really is a family friendly event with people coming down to spend time together.
“We had a great turnout again this year and thankfully the weather has been really great.”
Jock Garven principal at Lake Cathie Public School said he was delighted the school was able to come and support the carols again this year.
“Our school has worked with the local Lions Club for the last four years and they have been really supportive of us as a school,” Mr Garven said.
“We have students from our band as well as a number of classes performing at the carols and for us is it about being a part of the community that has embraced us as a school.
“It is also a great chance for all our school families to come down and enjoy some carols and Christmas cheer.”
