The community celebrated its 30th birthday and exciting new projects ahead in retirement living and aged care.
The resort is one of 11 in New South Wales operated by Australian Unity who are currently constructing a new 68-bed aged care facility at its Sienna Grange location.
General manager Brett Lafranci said the resort is a fantastic example of integrated retirement living and after 30 years, is still a model that works for residents wanting independent living into their senior years.
The longest serving resident called Governor’s Retirement Resort home for 22 years while the oldest resident is 97 years.
Member for Port Macquarie Leslie Williams attended the birthday celebrations.
