The celebration and volunteer and community thank you will take place on the Town Green from noon to 2pm on Sunday, November 18.

The event will bring together volunteers, their families, service providers and community members to celebrate the success of the vital service’s first year.

The mobile laundry service runs eight shifts a week providing free laundry and conversations with people experiencing homelessness on the Mid-North Coast.

People can also drop off donations of new socks and undies which will be given out during the Orange Sky Laundry van’s shifts in December.

Donations have also been flowing in to Ray White Port Macquarie which is a collection point for the sock and undie donation drive.
