And the winners are, in Pro Carts:
In the Pro Carts, first place in a blistering time of 5.53 was “What Tha “ driven by crew Paul and Josh.
Second place went to “The Devils Apprentice,” in 6.00 with crew Luke and Duane.
Third place went to “Savish” in a time of 7.46 with crew Huey and Dain.
In the Open Carts, first place went to “Uncut”, in 8.21 with crew Nick and Rob.
Second place was “Road Runner” in a time of 10.03 with crew Josh and Trent .
And third place went to “Rosewood Rocket “ in a time of 10.20 with crew Rod and Damian .
Lucky last was “Coyote“ in a time of 16.19 with crew Matt and Alex.
The organising committee thanked all the entrants for the time and effort they spent on their carts.
“They looked amazing,” said Mark Kucera.
“To all our sponsors, thanks again for your great support, and to all the volunteers and anybody that helped out, thank you for making the day a great success. Cheers and hope to see you again next year,” he said.
Fellow organiser James Wallis said they had a crowd of about 2000 who came from across the region.
“A lot of thought had gone into the majority of the carts. It was good to see even a couple of five-year-olds giving it a go. Some of the juniors were imitating their parents’ carts,” he said.
