The tournament is for year 3 and 4 primary school students, who play in a red ball hot shots competition, on mini courts and with modified equipment.
Kendall Public School students took out the regional final at the Kempsey Tennis Club on Tuesday, September 4.
Karangi Public School versed Kendall Public School in the final at Kempsey.
Leading into the last four sets, students from Kendall Public School were down by four points. The team came back to win by over 15 points.
The Todd Woodbridge Cup state finals are at the Sydney Tennis Centre on November 19.
The Todd Woodbridge Cup for primary schools was also hosted by the Kendall Tennis Club on Friday, August 31.
Kendall Tennis Club president Wendy Hudson said she was very proud of the Kendall Public School students, who are also members of the club.
Wendy was told the students’ sportsmanship displayed at the event ‘was incredible’.
