That's the secret to scoring a hat-trick in a grand final - just ask Port City Breakers fullback Larissa Ward.
The Breakers avenged last year's heartbreaking season-deciding loss with a comprehensive 24-0 defeat of Old Bar on Sunday.
They led 18-0 at halftime and cruised through the second half, completing a finals campaign that didn't see them concede a point.
Ward scored a first-half double and then scored the only try of the second half as the Breakers completed an undefeated season for the second time in three seasons.
"You just can't beat it," Ward said.
The fullback said her team "just wanted it" more than their opponents.
"The girls are just so close together and love playing for each other and you can't beat it," she said.
"Everyone wanted it, we wanted it more today than Old Bar and they were one of our biggest competitions this year and last year," she said.
Coach Troy Roach won his third competition and admitted he had been lucky to have a skillful side at his disposal.
He said Ward was simply "a freak", but it was what she brought to the team off the field that was just as important.
"Larissa Ward is an absolute freak," he said.
"She's great on the field, but off the field she's that smiling girl that when she walks into training everybody just loves.
"For Larissa, a lot of people see what she does on the field, but it's what she does off the field as well that is just as important."
Roach said the humble nature of his team was also an important ingredient to their successful season.
"The bit that makes me most proud of them is that we went through undefeated and not once did those girls ever say "look at me we are undefeated"," he said.
"They never bought it up and that tells me a lot about the squad I've got and how humble and genuine they are.
"That's a massive effort to go through undefeated.
"There were games throughout the season where we had seven girls away; five in a rep team and we still somehow got a win.
"That says a lot about our depth and their work ethic."
The Breakers coach gave special praise to Di Lawrence whose kicking game provided the perfect end to their sets.
"I just want to make mention to one player today that I thought would have been worthy for player of the match and Di Lawrence was massive," he said.
"She made some tags, played the full game and her kicking game was good. I'd have hated to pick between her and Larissa.”
