Westport Public hold colour run for P and C fundraiser

YEAR six students at Westport Public School raised funds on August 10 for their end of year farewell.

Staff and students decked out their hair in crazy patterns and with colour or wigs for a gold coin donation. This was coupled with the school’s colour run, raising funds for the school’s very active Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association.

The Westport Public School P&C is responsible for operating the school canteen, uniform shop and student banking.

It also conducts many other student-centred fundraising activities throughout each year to raise funds for additional resources.
