The farmers were so grateful.

The severe drought is causing our farmers heartbreak and a battle to survive - let us declare war on drought.

Now is the time to call out our defence force to assist with recovery by providing transport for stock food and food for families with large transport trucks and helicopters.

I am sure our service men and women would be grateful of the chance to be of assistance.
