Community and Allied Health Manager, Colleen Ryan is inviting local residents to return borrowed equipment so it can be lent to others.
“We provide many patients with equipment, such as shower chairs, over toilet aids, walkers and wheel chairs and more, to assist with their recovery,” Ms Ryan said.
“For one reason or another, some of that equipment isn’t returned.
“Many homeowners use spring as an excuse to do a big clean-up of their home, so the months leading in to spring provide a great opportunity to have a look around and, if you find borrowed items, bring them back to the Community Health campus,” Ms Ryan said.
“Port Macquarie Community Health welcomes the return of borrowed equipment so it can be used to assist new patients.”
Former patients are asked to call Port Macquarie Community Health Centre on 6588 2882, Wauchope Community Health Centre on 6580 8060 or Camden Haven Community Health Centre on 6559 9003 to arrange the return of equipment that is no longer required.
