Weatherzone meteorologist Kim Westcott said the next few days will be absolutely stunning in the Hastings.
“This week we have seen some pretty chilly mornings in Port Macquarie with the temperature going sub-zero on Wednesday,” Ms Westcott said.
“On average the morning temperatures have been between 5-7 degrees but warming up significantly during the day.
“On Friday we should expect to see temperatures around 6 degrees in the morning and warming up to the high teens as the day goes on.
“This will be the same for the weekend; cold mornings and clear skies with a very light wind so people should definitely take the opportunity to get out and about.”
Ms Westcott also said that despite no rain we are still above the rain average for July.
“We haven’t really had any rain for two weeks but due to the spectacular rainfall at the very beginning of July Port Macquarie is still well above average for the month,” she said.
“Unfortunately at this stage there is also no rain in the near future even as things start to dry out again.”
