The tower crane was in place for eight months over the Garden Village Cascades development.
Many people enjoyed watching the crane’s dismantling on July 14.
The crane, which lifted more than 8000 tonnes of material during its time at the Cascades project, towered 35 metres off the ground.
National contractor Watpac is building the development.
The Cascades development, an extension to the Garden Village retirement living offering, is due to open in September 2018.
