Boambee FC join United in the last eight from Northern NSW Football alongside six National Premier League clubs.
Lambton Jaffas will be Port United’s opponent in a real David v Goliath encounter as the Port Macquarie outfit take on one of the NPL heavyweights.
The Jaffas sit in third position on the NPL Northern NSW competition ladder behind Broadmeadow Magic and Edgeworth FC. Their league record reads five wins, four draws and two losses with 21 goals for and 15 against.
United’s opponents came into the FFA Cup draw at a later stage than the Port outfit.
Jaffas have defeated Cessnock City Hornets (4-1) in round five and South Cardiff FC (11-0) in round four. Both those sides sit sixth and third respectively in the New FM Northern League One competition.
After winning through the NNSWF regional qualifiers (5-4 over Urunga Raiders in round 4 and 2-0 over Demon Knights in round 5), Port United’s form has dipped with consecutive defeats in the FMNC Premier League.
Those results against Macleay Valley Rangers and Wauchope SC have been the sides only two losses of the season and now sees them sitting in fifth place on the ladder with a catch up match in hand against Taree Wildcats.
The day shapes as a huge event for football fans with all four sixth round fixtures at the same venue.
