Meteorologist with weatherzone Brett Dutschke says we should see the odd light drizzly shower overnight Monday and into Tuesday with a minimum temperature of around 10 degrees.
"That shower might be a bit annoying if you are hanging out the washing," he said.
"It will brighten up pretty quickly on Tuesday morning after some low cloud and fog patches will burn off just on sunrise.
"Tuesday will be generally sunny and looks like being the nicest day of the week."
From there our weather turns cold.
Wednesday will see a blustery south-westerly wind change move through the area. Although a dry change, increasing cloud could see a pretty reasonable chance of getting some showers most likely in the afternoon and evening.
The minimum temperature will be nine or 10 degrees and the maximum will get to 20 degrees but it will cool down to just 15 degrees by sunset as the chilly winds kick in.
"Thursday will be the chilliest morning reaching just six degrees with the rest of the day featuring pretty brisk winds," he said.
The wind chill will be very noticable when people first head outdoors.

"The wind chill will be very noticeable when people first head outdoors.
"It will remain chilly despite reaching a maximum of about 19 degrees.
"Friday is another chilly morning reaching between six and seven degrees before climbing to a top of 18 degrees. You will see some cloud about which will make the day less pleasant.
"The winds will be fresh and gusty and it will feel a bit cooler than the temperature suggests."
Unfortunately the weekend looks set to be a similar weather pattern.
Mr Dutschke said the winds will remain fresh on the weekend although the minimum and maximum tempeartures will climb slightly higher.
"It will be generally a sunny weekend," he added.
A wind warning is likely through Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
